my gas bill is currently due. It's not very much but it is annoying to think I have to take care of it. It's funny too, because the less I want to take care of something like that the better I feel. Weird.
Anyhow, I was offered a chance to go on tour with a band, all friends of mine. I decided not to go this time because the idea of playing music on the road when I am already not really performing much seems tough. Tough to re-ignite some older ideas and all. I'm not too worried, after all I am still involved with music in one way or another.
JJ, DH, JM, and CM and I are still working on some new ideas. Throwing ideas around and all. I don't want to describe it because that just seems odd. Besides, it reminds me of a couple of things I heard some very loud talking musician say the other day. 1: "[my band sounds} like rock and roll with classical influences." Wow! ACDC and Mozart! Yeah! Oh, and this jem too: "People hate it when I stand in front of them in a concert." I think he meant this to mean when he is in the audience, as he was tall, but I couldn't help but wonder and chuckle a little bit.

The music I've pretty much taken the blame for is finally available in a way that makes me feel nice. I never liked myspace (I created and deleted about five band accounts already. Don't blame me for trying!). I may or may not put other music up here too, but the whole thing about putting old and embarassing music on the web is pretty, um, old and embarassing. So there you go.
Each album of music that is put out on this site is 100% by donation only. If you want them for free, take them. I don't really care. Just simply take them. Enjoy them. I put a lot of work in them, and I feel that this merits some attention. Besides, quantifing my work with a price tag just seems silly. You will however see a paypal and google checkout button when you are about to download. It's there not to make you feel guilty, but more to let you know that it would be appreciated even though I freely want you to have them. Do what you want to do.
You may also have noticed an embedded google calendar directly below. I like that calendar. It does wonders for scheduling lessons. I hope it has the same effect for shows.
Much thanks for coming by, and props to JM at Sona Studios for his invaluable advice in making this site happen. I hope to share music with every single one of you at a show sometime soon.
